« Regional aid block exemption: Regulation 1628/2006 | Main | Better regulation ? »

Mélanie Fourret

If you are interested in European citizenship and the rights that are attached to it and the ones that could be, have a look at this petition:
It pushes for the European Parliament to take initiative by creating a common forum for debate and hearings with civil society, academics, journalists and politicians. It also asks the European Parliament to put concrete propositions forward. If we consider that the ECJ is the only actors in the EU promoting rights derived from EU citizenship, it is more than time for action to be taken. The Commission and the member states are reluctant to start such a debate and even more to add rights such as access to education or social benefits! Let's pass this petition around , it is important we get the opportunity to get heard!
