First annual progress report on European contract law

The Commission has made available its first "Annual Progress Report on European Contract Law and the Acquis Review".
You can download it here.

It is written in the inimitable style of the European Commission :

"As indicated in the 2004 Communication, the relevant findings (e.g. definitions, model rules) in the CFR preparation will be tested in the field of consumer protection, in the context of the review of the consumer acquis. The acquis review will in turn feed into the development of the broader CFR."

Whatever....

But it is worth reading.
